Art Unleashed Benefits No More Homeless Pets
Rosie was painted in acrylics from a photo sent to me by her owner so that I could participate in an Art show fundraiser.
The ARTunleashed Art Show benefits First Coast No More Homeless Pets.
A calling was made to artists to donate an animal inspired artwork to be displayed and sold in a professional setting on June 23, 2011 at the River Club in Jacksonville, Florida. The show will be juried by a committee of art professionals who will select the winning pieces.

The Mission of First Coast No More Homeless Pets is to end the needless killing of cats and dogs in our communities by offering free and low-cost spay/neuter surgeries. High volume spay/neuter surgery programs are the only proven method to ending the pet overpopulation problems.
Rosie caught my eye. An adorable little dachshund of a German origin, short legs, and drooping ears, they have always been one of my favorite breeds. Having had three over the years myself, I felt that I could understand capturing the personality of Rosie. She comes from a loving home and has a sister named Lily. They love to play together tunneling through their blankets.
Category winners will receive a prize of the winning artwork. Winners will compete for the Best In Show prize of $750 Cash Prize on June 23,2011 at The River Club of Jacksonville, 1 Independent Drive, Jacksonville, Florida, 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
